The Chippewa County Land Conservation & Forest Management Department holds an annual tree sale to encourage local tree planting. The program offers a variety of conifer, broadleaf and wildlife shrub species for spring planting to improve the habitat on their property.

Tree Sale Program

  • All single species are sold in bundles of 25 seedlings unless otherwise noted.

  • Order early, quantities are limited. Once a species is sold out, we are not able to order more until the following year.

  • Orders are filled in the order in which they are received.

  • Deadline to order is April 5th, 2026.

  • Order pick up will be in late April or Early May, at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls. Date TBD.

  • The sale is open to everyone, not strictly Chippewa County residents.

  • All sales are final. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.

  • Please inspect your order at pick up. If you find an item missing, you must notify us immediately.

  • Orders not picked up on the designated date will be donated to a non-profit conservation organization and NO REFUND will be issued.

  • There is no guarantee/warranty on any tree survival. To minimize loss, follow proper planting and care instructions provided to you at the time of pick up.
